It&#8217;s a great opportunity that my wife and I are both excited about. While there, I&#8217;ll be working on a book project. Tentatively entitled &#8220;The Openness of the Future and the Openness of God&#8221;, it&#8217;s going to be a <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">philosophical<\/span> defense of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.opentheism.info\/\">open theism<\/a>. Basically, I&#8217;m aiming to do for open theism what Tom Flint, the director of the Center, has done for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Divine-Providence-Molinist-Philosophy-Religion\/dp\/0801473365\/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&#038;s=books&#038;qid=1207174234&#038;sr=1-1\">Molinism<\/a>, one of open theism&#8217;s main competitors in the intellectual marketplace of philosophical theology.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A couple weeks ago I was offered a one-year postdoc position at the University of Notre Dame&#8217;s Center for the Philosophy of Religion.
