So far this year, however, things have gone pretty well. I&#8217;ve had three papers accepted at three different journals:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.alanrhoda.net\/papers\/Fumerton%20on%20Inferential%20Justification.pdf\">Fumerton&#8217;s Principle of Inferential Justification, Skepticism, and the Nature of Inference<\/a> (forthcoming in <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Journal of Philosophical Research<\/span>)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.alanrhoda.net\/papers\/Generic%20Open%20Theism.pdf\">Generic Open Theism and Some Varieties Thereof<\/a> (forthcoming in <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Religious Studies<\/span>)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.alanrhoda.net\/papers\/Case%20for%20Open%20Theism.pdf\">The Philosophical Case for Open Theism<\/a> (forthcoming in <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Philosophia<\/span>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The second one in the list was the one that really surprised me. Normal turnaround time for peer review is anywhere from 3 to 6 months. In this case, it was only 1 week!<\/p>\n<p>Now if I can just manage to land one or two more publications in the next couple months I may stand a good chance of getting a tenure-track position.
